I don't know, late 2008 was pretty crazy too, with of the "LBP Will Be HUGE!" campaign, as well as the "PS3 is the Future, BELIEVE!" campaign. Heck, there was even that one poster hyping Resistance 2 to Kingdom Come (All those Resistance 2 vs Gears of War 2 threads... oh how I don't miss them. )

Yeah, you Sony fans sure are an interesting bunch for sure. But that's why we love ya.
