I'm excited about this game, I don't have a lot of Metroid experience, certainly not compared to Nintendo's other big franchises. I wasn't able to get into Prime on GC, but did eventually play and complete Corruption. I also have the trilogy and got about half way through Prime 1 this time. I also downloaded Super Metroid on VC, and was really enjoying it until I got stuck and couldn't figure out what to do even with a guide and gave up. But this game seems very fun to me, seems like it will have the exploration the series is known for, but make the action a little faster paced. I think the voice acting is fine, not stellar but doesn't seem to detract, and once you've played it awhile I'm sure we'll get more used to it. I like the direction of having Samus have a more monotone voice, and being emotionally and socially stunted, but I would have liked her voice to sound slightly stronger, but that is just a minor complaint.
Anyway this is a great thread, and I can't wait for the game to be released.
