I think the voice direction works, maybe some of the lines could be better, but i think the same about 95% of hollywood movies and 99.99% of videogames. Uncharted 1 & 2 might be literally filled with cliches, but they do have stellar voice work. And so do the games that Khuutra mentioned, as well as Madworld. (Well, the announcers, at least.)
