edit: oh and rentals can't forget the rentals and second hand games you know for old titles they may have missed not owning a 360, all these things are good options when when you have just blown a few hundred $$$ on a console.

Or the existing owners aren't buying anything right now and are finishing their backlog.  I know I am.

it is possible that the existing owners aren't buying many games at the moment and the new users are hiding the drop off, there are tones of reasons why sales aren't increasing lol
