Quite a feat beating two competitors at once. This won't last though, the Wii has been steadily losing market share for well over a year and the rate in which its happening is only accelerating with the Wii only 25k in front of the PS3 last week and no signs of any big changes soon. Let us also not forget that the PS2 will, by the end of its lifetime, probably have tripled the combined sales of its peer consoles which takes away a little part of the glory (yes, the market has grown and changed but that actually makes the PS2 accomplishment even more incredible). The DS is also a lot more impressing saleswise, I'm truly curious as to where that monster will end up in lifetime sales. 170 million? More? Crazy stuff.
