#1 M$ barely has a first party

#2 Is it really fair to compare only the 360 to the PS3, PS2, and PSP?

damn!!! that list is pale compared to sony's. Well in the end i am a consumer and not some multi billionaire giant so i prefer the company that gives me more games even if the company does get less profit.

Perhaps that's part of the reason some developers have chosen to side with the 360 for exclusivity of certain titles.

WIth that said and like many others I prefer the 360 exclusives.

But the PS3 also has its share of exclusive 3rd party titles along with exclusive content with multi-platform games.  Having a preference is fine, but your argument cuts both ways.  Moot point.

It seems many of the 3rd party exclusives for the PS3 generally have a large appeal in Japan. For obvious reasons siding with the PS3 is best unless MS is throwing a ton of money at you. Personally, I tend to enjoy western games much more than Japanese games.

The exclusive content found in some PS3 games is likely something Sony works out to combat much of the exclusive content the 360 gets. I mean they had the GTA IV expansions, they get the Call of Duty DLC first, great XBLA titles, and they've even bought several of their exclusives. MS has been extremely competitive and Sony has to get (i.e. buy) an edge somewhere.

Thank you for expressing your opinion and personal preferences.  It still doesn't back up your single-sided claim that:

"Perhaps that's part of the reason some developers have chosen to side with the 360 for exclusivity of certain titles."

Have a nice day.

Basically Sony mostly just cares about their games. They've made it clear their focus is their IPs. They flood their console with quite a few 1st party titles that compete with sales of 3rd party.

To the contrary, MS has put a focus on bringing great 3rd party exclusives to the 360 and support them. They even throw money around to get them.
