Germany's team in the work cup was outstanding and in my view should have won the whole thing, they showed not only promise but flair and determination while Spain was just get a goal and keep it type play with was boring and dull. Our team is mad from old aging players, we haven't had the same new blood that Germany has had and we desperately need it, next World Cup and Euros I don't expect half our current team to be there, they are all aging and it is showing. But then other sports, we are ranked top in the world in nearly every sport, just hardly ever the best in said sport. |
I don't know why we are talking about sports here, but the UK is has a top team in almost every kind of sports ?
How about handball, basketball, hockey, bicycle racing, ice-hockey oh wait let's just say anything that involves snow or ice.
I think France, Italy, Spain and Germany are still quite a bit ahead of the UK when it comes to sports.
