Alakazam is supposed to have a brain better than the greatest supercomputers...why the hell is he letting himself be treated like an animal, a mere pet, to these inferior humans? And Machamp, who is incredibly powerful, why is he letting the weakling humans (who can't pass a simple tiny bush covering their path [use hm01!]) have complete power over him? Wait a second, why the hell can't Alakazam say anything other than his name, if he's so smart? Why are all pokemon so underdeveloped with regards to their vocalization? Maybe the rationality and reasoning parts of their brains are completely inept, as well as their use of language.
Wait a second, why the hell can meowth, of all pokemon, speak english clearly when none other can?! (besides mewtwo's telepathy in the first movie)
And why the hell have I never questioned any of this before?!

I remember the episode where it revealed how he learnt to talk good episode.
on topic IDK why pokemon serve humans, but the pokeball brainwashing angle seems to be plausible lol. As for humans vs pokemon as some pokemon seam to be on the level of demigods I don't see how humans stand a chance really. I mean I seem to remember an episode where a load of Tentacruel destroyed an entire city and the psychic pokemon could brainwash us and jigglypuff could lul us all to sleep etc OMG the humans will be forced to use the bomb, if they have it.
