Why put it on the next console if the technology is possible with their current console?
In a year, they could release an "updated" sensor bar + headband, package that with all new Wiis, and put logos on games that require the peripherals. It wouldn't cost much, as the only technology going on there is IR +camera technology...it probably wouldn't cost more than $30-$40 for the new sensor bar and headband.
It's possible, just unlikely.
