Kinect will sell better than Move, even if Move has the better games (which looks to be the case). The reason is because the Move lacks the "new" factor that the Wii has, and because of that, it will not sell much beyond Sony's core fanbase. Why would new users, particularly the more casual audience, pick up a $300 PS3 and another $100 for Move when they can get a Wii that's ready to go with 2 games for half the price?

Kinect as least has that sort of novelty factor to it that will bring in some strong early sales. However, judging by the game quality, I expect sales to taper off pretty quick, at least until Kinect starts getting some real quality games that are hits. I honestly think the new slim 360 model will push sales far more than Kinect.

Why would new owners spend $300 on a 360 and $150 for Kinect (and no games bundled with Kinect btw) when they can do they can get a Wii that's ready to go with 2 games for even less than half the price? And even worse, the main Kinect games are Kinect Sports, Dance Central, Ubisoft Fitness, and Kinectimals. Those 3 are just clones of some of the highest selling Wii games, and Kinectimals is already out. It's called EyePet.

I'm sure they'll bundle it, but as it stands, there's going to be a $299 new 360, and Kinect is at $150 even according to Microsoft. PS3/Move bundle at least comes with a game. So, you can't make it seem like it's silly for new owners to get Move, because at this stage in the game, it's even SILLIER for them to get Kinect by your logic

Also, Move doesn't have the "new" factor that the Wii has, so it won't sell outside it's core audience? Hello! The core audience has called Wii gimmicky and "the games are for kids" since launch. Why would the core audience buy the same thing just cause it's on the PS3? Wii Sports is for kids, but Sports Champions is for the hardcore? Come on now, I know PS fans aren't the favorites on forums, but THAT much hypocrisy just doesn't exist
