Little King Story is harmed by it's lack of pointer controls I felt. I ended up trading it in the end because it became frustrating. If it had them it would be a GREAT game but I personally wouldn't recommend it. If you want another city building offering I'd suggest Dawn of Discovery. That was great and a really overlooked gem. It's a straight up city builder though with some combat as your get further into the game. You can complete the story which is like a giant tutorial or go right for continuous play which allows you to build up cities however you like and for as long as you like.
