Honestly I just got an 1080p HD monitor that was really cheap to play my games on... no way in hell I can afford anything more expensive just to play some 3D movies and games... 

I bought my TV 2 years ago,  I think its time for a new one.   I could probably get a decent price for mine if I sell it.  Then off to Best Buy for my Samsung Plasma!!!   I'll be the only person in IL to be gaming PS3 3D style!!!!  Oh yeah.

There's a real issue of HD adoption still isn't that high, I'm pretty sure the ratio is higher with people that get involved with game consoles but if you've not sold people on HD yet why start on 3D so soon... it just seems like a nifty feature over 90 percent of your user base will never even take advantage of lol which it also means you have to take development time to enable the game to be played in 3D since the process to make games play in 3D on PS3 isn't like PC where games were built to scale down so it can render the game twice pretty easily.  PS3 games don't scale like that :
