I dunno, but play Ghost of Sparta on the PSP. It will most likely be better than part 3. Now that they lowered the graphics they can focus more on length and adding to gameplay.

What?

You think a sequel to Chains of Olympus is going to be better than God of War III?

Chains of Olympus being God of War II, but half the length, with terrible controls, worse weapons, a laughable story, useless graphics and pathetic boss fights?

Funny you mention length, then, because GoW2 was about 12 hours, GoW3 was about the same, and Chains of Olympus was 5 hours long. And "adding to gameplay" when Chains used the exact same animations and combos as GoW2.

God of War 3 felt like it was less than 10 hours. I beat that game in three days. Ghost of Sparta isn't Chains of Olympus. Check out the new interviews, the game will be much longer with moves inspired from GOW 3. It will explain why Kratos was so pissed after part 1 and beginning part 2.

You beat it in three days because you couldn't put the controller down

But on a serious note, it was no less than double the length of Chains of Olympus. I suppose everything else is subjective, so we'll leave that comparison at that.

As for why Kratos is pissed before part 2, the Gods refused to rid him of his nightmares. That was explained in about 2 minutes in GoW2's opening cutscene. I suppose there could be more to it, but mid-quels don't have much room for storyline. Chains of Olympus didn't really have much of a story either- it was a cash-in on God of War II's success and popularity, so it seems pretty likely that Ghost of Sparta will be the same for God of War III, especially if Ready at Dawn did describe it as you said.

Don't think I didn't like Chains of Olympus. I liked it very much. It was just nowhere near the quality of the game that it blatantly ripped off: like Dante's Inferno, but not quite as dire, and more forgivable because it's in the same series.
