I honestly don't get a lot of the comments about the graphics... I think it looks freaking awesome and I love the style being celshaded but with the adult Link look. I think people are too critical I saw a lot of comments like these when TWW was shown off and that's become a fan favorite.
I like a lot of the things going on too, like when you cut into a shroom it shakes and has a hole cut in it, or you can cut through a tree and it cuts through it at the same angle you cut it and place instead of being a generic "hit object breaks here, here, and here then disappears" and you can keep cutting it up into smaller pieces.
Like the cutting mechanic seems a lot like Metal Gear Solid Rising but it's real time 1:1 with cutting trees with your own motion and no need for slow down effect lol
