I am also one of those people who rather use the tiny Gamecube d-pad than the stick to play Fire Emblem 9. Plus when navigating through a menu in any game, I rather use a d-pad than a stick. I am a control freak. You know I am also complaining about games that run in PlayStation analog stick mode and only register weak and strong movement of the stick with nothing inbetween. I recently got Sky Crawlers and when you choose the analog stick to control the planes you can't fly smooth turns for the aforementioned reason. |
Fair enough, although I haven't had any problems controlling NyxQuest or Lost Winds using the stick, so I'm not too concerned. I haven't heard any problems with it in Jungle Beat either: to be honest, this is the first time I can remember anyone raising this concern.
