Neither was a first-person adventure, and that worked out alright.
To be honest, I prefer that Nintendo stop segregating its teams into specialties, and let them go back to cross-pollinization like in the NES days. Series like Metroid would not exist if 80's Nintendo operated like modern Nintendo!
