- Natal R&D and Production costs
- Natal will probably be sold at a loss
- Slimmer model R&D costs
- Huge marketing costs for both Natal and Slim model
- Slim won't be that much cheaper to produce, they will have to make it of higher quality that the normal 360's to fix faults such as the RROD
RROD already fixed with Jasper model, Slim would be MUCH cheaper to produce by shrinking and combining cpu/gpu to one chip, less cooling needed, less casing materials, smaller mobo, no more memory card slots, etc.
- Microsoft has already lost a lot of money this gen
...Really?

MS has been posting huge profits the last few quarters even in the EDD where Xbox 360 is and even with Natal and Slim R&D going on.

How do you know Jaspers have fixed RROD?
I mean I never heard of YLOD until a year and a half after the PS3 launch.

It has been a year and a half after the first Jasper 360s appeared at retailers and they "fixed" RROD so far.
However RROD itself is not fixable and should not be fixed, because it's just an error report.
I could say all PS3s will fail before the gen is over and you could not prove me wrong until this point of time. Yet the PS3 is considered to be a reliable console, so why aren't the new 360s reliable as well ?
