Each armor component gives you X points towards/against Y skill. Each skill requires a minimum "score" before it activates.* Each slot lets you insert a decoration, and decorations increase/decrease certain skills.
*Example: Health needs a minimum of 10 to give you 20 extra HP. Having only 9 points of the Health skill does nothing.
