Depends on your skills. I'm at 25 hours with only 95 stars (because I keep dying even when I try to catch a boomerang thrown by those Boomerang Bros.)
The game is longer than Galaxy 1, believe me. And you want to replay it again and again. Galaxy 2, because of it's World Map system (which is very excellent) is more addictive than any Mario 3D game. It has more of a feeling of being a 2D game.
