You can´t only take the percentage of the sales it has compared to the Xbox 360 
If both consoles continue to sell on the roughly same rate 2010 will show something like 40 million Xbox 360s and 35 million PS3´s which would mean the PS3 had 85% of Xbox 360´s sales but still didn´t catch up at all.
You have to look at the total gap and the gap grew during this year. The PS3 would have to outsell the Xbox 360 by more than 7 million units next year which would mean about 17-20 million depending what the Xbox360 sells... that won´t happen.
