Nintendo doesn't need to increase Wii production numbers, it needs to relocate the Wiis produced.
Reggie Fils-Aime said Nintendo isn't stockpiling, so why Nintendo doesn't sell 1.8million Wiis a month? easy, it is just selling out in the USA, if you go to Europe or Japan you can find Wiis on the wild.
If Nintendo could reduce the units shipped to Europe and Japan and increase the units shipped in the USA the problem would be solved.
