I think we will likely see demand continue to fluctuate a bit between the major regions next year so it would seem more likely that Nintendo would try and shuffle around any extras rather than stuff them into retailers in a market that is not selling out.
If they did though, I certainly wouldn't want VGC to count it in the totals, its not a sold unit until it is in the hands of consumers.
