I realize that the Nintnedo Wii is still selling very close to supply and is very constrained right now and that Nintendo is in fact a company that likes to produce close to what it sells to prevent loss but I was thinking that if Nintendo really wanted to jack Wii production up to an insane number next year that it could even if it doesn't sell out the whole year.

Basically with the way the Wii has sold I think that if Nintendo had the capability to jump to 3 million a month production that retailers would buy them up in the summer even if it was not selling out anticipating being short yet again in the Holidays and that Nintendo would not take that much of a loss or is this flawed logic...I mean it hurt the 360 a bit when they did it last year. Any thoughts? how much do you think Nintendo could sell to retailers Next year regardless of actual sales. Of course it woudl suck to see Nintendo fanboys jumping on VGChartz for not posting shipped numebrs instead of sales estimates but aside from that any thoughts

Thanks
