The fact that they included the Segaway makes the list really stupid. While it didn't change human transportation for life (the hype the inventor gave it), it is a very cool and useful invention. Just not for normal every day walking like Kamen wanted.
Also, after reading the entire list it reads as an environmentalists personal bitch list of either bad things for the environment or things they personally don't like despite their popularity. Stupid list, but then again, the real 50 worst inventions would be a boring list to read and maybe they should have just cut it down to 10.
