Not really, because nobody loses in a scenario like this. If they stopped making Sony exclusives altogether, I'd say otherwise. But with a new IP and Sony continuing to reap the benefits of exclusivity, nobody really loses here

Coming from one of the strongest advocates for exclusive games, I am quite surprised to hear you say that. I know that Sony owns their 2 biggest IPs but why not this one. Sure its only publishing deal with EA Games but I cant imagine Sony wouldnt have published this game if given the opportunity. Im just not happy about this, I will still continue to buy there games because they are fantastic games, but I ont think it is a smart move at all.

Well because in a situation like this, Sony still gets the game, their own exclusive games, and maybe even new IPs. If they lost any exclusivity, yes, I'd be the attack dog at the gates. But it isn't like this new IP was ever announced exclusive, so there's no losers here, really.

when an exclusive developer goes multiplatform it means that some/all of the future exclusives are lost. It's not like Insomniac was going to stop making games if they didn't sign the multiplatform deal. So essentially you are fine with lost exclusives so long as the name of the game hasn't been announced.
