These spikes don't even seem to be due to the Christmas rush, it's just happening as time passes. While Metroid Prime 3 will probably sell less week in week out then those games listed above, chances are it'll still see high sales for many months to come in the new year. I think after it gains some extra spikes from Smash Bro's release, next years Christmas and price reduction it'll easily be passed 2m rivaling the original for best selling in the Prime series. |
Metroid Prime 3 will never get near the sales of MP1. Thats a given. Will it beat 2? Simple answer is Yes. When? Early next year.
I'm guessing it'll do around 1.5 million total but if it's lucky it might just get around that 2 million mark.
