Why without?
It`s actually doing pretty good WITH USA.

The attach rate of games are similiar to x360.

Just some facts:

By the end of november there were about:
Total: 11,8 mln. - 100%
9,1 mln. x360. - 77%.
2,7 mln. ps3. - 23%.

Now CoD4 sales:
Total: 2,014 mln.- 100%
Call of Duty 4 (Xbox 360) -- 1,570,000 - 78%.
Call of Duty 4 (PlayStation 3) -- 444,000 - 22%.

Bow AC sales:
Total: 1,357 mln. - 100%
Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360) -- 980,000 - 72%.
Assassin's Creed (PlayStation 3) -- 377,000 - 28%.

So with increas of console sold in USA, the game sales will also increase.
It will easy reach 6 mln. when LBP, KZ2, GT5, MGS4, GTA4 comes.
That will make pretty strong sales of games.
And well, catching x360, will be just a matter of time.. Maybe by the end of this year, IF FFXIII comes in 2008. =]

p.s. i expect 2 mln. GTA4 on x360, and 1 mln. on PS3. That`s already 33%.
Though, interesing thing i found now..

rethink what you said? (gta4 2 million on 360!, 1 million on ps3!) i know lots of people who bought a ps2 for gta san andreas and gta3. (that's why gta3 is the highest selling game on the ps2!) there is no doubt that since people are used to gta on a playstation console they will go get a ps3!! (ps3 wouldn't be near wii sales but catch up quickly to 360 sales!!)

Damn things have changed since 2009 began. Here are my new visions for the end of the generation.

Wii: 135 mil

Ps3: 85 mil

360: 60 mil
