Well the screen looks amazing anyway, I haven't tried video recording though

It does look amazingly huge too and the hd recording has nothing to do with 2.1 but they announced that tehy will enable through the same update.

when I said "could've done better" , it's because consumers probably do care about what version of android the devices run other than that the xperia is awesome :)

Well, I would say that most people don't understand the difference between 1.6 and 2.1, I would describe myself as quite a well informed user consumer, but I have no idea of real differences
