I believe that jrpg's are rpg just a different style of them. As time goes by things change and so does the exact classifications of those things. And if you cant except that then whatever. sure jrpg are not the embodiment of traditional rpg's but who cares they are rpg just evolved in a sense with new mechanics tacked on. if you ask me there are plenty of genres that have changed over time but there still within that genre just with new innivations.
