PSP will outsell every nintendo product except DS,Wii, and Original GameBoy

In Japan?  It'll definitely outsell Wii, maybe GBA, possibly SFC if there no PSP2 in the next year, but probably not FC.  GB & DS are untouchable, no PlayStation system will ever come close to either.

Worldwide, it won't match GBA, or anything higher (GB, DS, Wii).

PSP will easly top GBA if sony cuts the price and keeps it on market for a while

Doubt it.  It just doesn't move enough units ww anymore.  Besides, we'll probably have PSP2 launch this year.

PSP should sell 65 million units by the end of the year with the price cut. And lets say its gonna stay on the market for 3 more years and sells 5 million per year, its gonna outsell GBA

3 more years after the end of 2010?!  It definitely won't be on market that long. Honestly, in 4 years time I doubt there's any PSP1 models even on shelves anywhere.  And the platform's going to be "wound down" long before that.... it'll probably finish up around 70m imo, and be off shelves by mid 2012.

Sony's products usually last on market for 10 years, i dont see why would PSP last any shorter

Sony's only products that have lasted 10 years on shelves have been 100m+ selling hardware that absolutely dominated the market and sold billions of software units.  Frankly, I don't see how PSP qualifies.

If PSP is profitable i dont see a reason for disconecting it for at least 3.5 more years

Its profits are probably diminishing. That's why you always have to think about the next profit.

with PSP Go? i dont think so...

Are you serious? That thing tanked!

And don't use the "that thing is pure profit" line, please. It's Sony's virtual boy/sega cd! Not even japan is buying it, which is amazing!

that thing makes more money on unit sold than PS3 and xbox 360. But fine, if you think PSP wont outsell GBA, fine by me. Only the time will tell. This is a rather boring discussion anyway
