I enjoyed reading ONM's review of Super Mario Galaxy 2. Apparently World 3 map screen will be one of the most revolutionary pieces of music in gaming. I wonder if this music will topple such classics as Phendrana Drifts, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes- Multiplayer Theme Hunters, Garden Galaxy, and Ho-oh Battle (you are entitled to your own opinion).

Mahito Yokota and Koji Kondo are masters!

I'm looking forward this game so much... And there is over 240 stars... I'm glad it is that long!

what, was it confirmed?

didn't omn said there wasn't?

In an interview with Miyamoto, he said 240.

From gameinformers review "Super Mario Galaxy 2 throws something new at you nearly every single level - and with over 240 stars to collect, that's no small feat."

I am still skeptical however.
