Umbrella Chronicles is definitely not bad.  Or even close to bad.  It's probably all around the best lightgun shooter ever made.  That said, of course people want a non-lightgun shooter Resident Evil.  As I have said before though I would rather have one built from the ground up then a shoddy port of RE5, and no, I don't know it would be shoddy, but chances are good.
