First results are in....8.3% swing in favor of the conservatives in one precinct (or whatever you call them over there):

2251 First result: Houghton & Sunderland South: Labour hold seat with 19,137 for Bridget Phillipson. Tories second with 8,147. Turnout of 55pc. Swing from Lab to Con of 8.4pc

I'm not sure why we don't vote electronically, but that really has to be introduced for the next election in...oh, six months.
