buy a rat and keep it in a cage. Put the cage right under the electrical wire. Let the rat chew the wire until it is cut in two. The rat should get killed by the electricity, and most people are too lazy to fix the thing and would just replace it. Dump the rat on the ground under the TV and throw the cage in a nearby dumpster.
Call the owners and tell them a rat chewed through the cable and died on the floor and that you need the place cleaned out and the TV replaced.
