They thought the word "Playstation" was just irresistible, no matter the price tag. Well, tough. I, for one, believe that they could have launched at 400$ without BluRay. Then it could have been a completely different story. As much as I dislike Microsoft, they did get one thing right: HD-DVD is optional. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Sony, (have a PS2), but I do think they need a nice slap in the face from reality at the moment.

they have the right to be... they are actually delivering some of their promises and it pisses ninis like weezy off. Really free online play and web browsing. Hmm.. check. Blu-Ray makes a difference in game.. check. Full game store with downloadable content. Check. A game that matches its CG trailer.. check. Only problem is its $600 which once they cut the price things will be different. More people are whiling to pay $500 then $600.
