It was actually pretty hilarious to see Brown slowly listing everything the Labour party claims they are doing in an attempt to convince that woman to vote Labour. She certainly wasn't a BIGOT, she was complaining about immigrants taking British jobs at the expense of hard-working locals. A perfectly reasonable complaint, and all parties agree on cutting immigration, with the added clause of "from outside the EU".
What, exactly, makes the EU so special that it gets granted invulnerability from immigration limits? Cameron seems to be the only one tackling the problem, with the whole "new countries in the EU will be limited" thing. But it isn't perfect.
