Thanks everyone for the help.
This is the converter that I am using.

I emailed the guy that sold me the game and he said that he was using a Super Honey Bee Converter to play it, so I'm going to get one of those.
Knowing that I should be able to play it with a good converter is really helpful information. Thanks a lot.
In the worst case, I would have to get an american SNES. They are rare on tradera.com though and expensive if I buy them on online stores. I will need an american SNES anyway to play Super Mario RPG some day.
To those of you who suggested an emulator. That is of course the logical thing to do. But I it would feel a little like cheating to me :) Also, the cartridge cost me around 1000kr wich is around $70-$80 so I really want it to work.
I'll try to clean it to. That was a really good suggestion. I recently got the Japanese Final Fantasy V cartridge to work on the adapter so I know the connectors on the adapter are good, but perhaps the FFVI cartridge needs cleaning.
I LOVE ICELAND!
