Apparently they are also talking about retail sales:

According to the latest financial results posted by Atlus parent company Index Holdings, first translated by Siliconera, Demon's Souls saw North American retail sales of 280,000 -- well over three times its projected performance of 75,000 units.

Yeah, Index's financial year ended in Feb.  I should've doubled checked, I figured they ended in March like most JP companies. :/

Hmm, so that would mean that the numbers would be a month earlier than the ones I posted (VGC's of course)
