Clearly you feel that everyone is the same. 

I just bought a DSi XL and it's my first DS. I've been wanting to get a DS for myself, but the other models just made my hands hurt after a few hours of playing on them, since they were so tiny and left my hands in akward angles.  

Now, with the DSi XL, I have no issues at all. So yeah, variety is a good thing, because, guess what? People are different >_> 

Glad you're happy with your DSI XL, it's huge but a great machine.
