Famitsu president expects 5 million units of MHP3 sold, that's not based of a poll, but probably from their analysts and Capcom's internal members. Where did I contradict myself anyways?

Okay, now I have to ask where said person made such a statement.  Because I've never seen any lone person in Famitsu come out and make such bold perdictions.  And you seem to be putting a lot behind this one person and his single prediction about a not yet released game, yet downplaying their prediction that Dragon Quest IX will sell 5 million.  Which is it?  Are they right or wrong...or just right about the one game you want them to be right about?  Which again, isn't out yet.

And you contradicted yourself by stating that Monster Hunter was going to be more popular than Dragon Quest with the release of the next game, than backpeddled and stated Dragon Quest was more popular but Monster Hunter is mearly gaining momentum.  Thereby pretty much dissolving your whole point that sales = popularity.  I'd like to point out that if sales = popularity, Monster Hunter has a long way to go before it catches up to Dragon Quest.

I would like to repeat the point I made back then.  Monster Hunter and Dragon Quest appeal to similar markets.  And just because Monster Hunter sells well doesn't mean it'll overtake the established fanbase of Dragon Quest or future Dragon Quest games will sell less copies.  That's like saying because Modern Warfare broke sales records, future Halo games will do worse.  It doesn't work that way.

What are the chances of this coming to the US?

Probably slim to none as the game is a port of a game that was only in Japan to begin with.  And SquareEnix pretty much gives the series the cold shoulder outside of Japan as it is.
