I agree with you as well that Nintendo's online experience is sadly lacking, and that from the personal perspective's of many they certainly *need* to do more, but where has that contributed to a loss of sales on their part? When you see Nintendo games with great online (MKWii) poor online (Brawl), and no online at all (NSMBWii) all push the 10 million boundary regardless, what kind of message does that send Nintendo?
Online is incidental. That's what *they* see from their perspective on their games.
