are you saying Metroid is low prioriry for Nintendo? I feel sad for the franchise...

Metroid is an enigma.  They've always called it their 'third pillar' next to Mario and Zelda, yet given it little advertising and support outside of the Prime games.  And even with the Prime games, they never got the kind of advertising and support say a Mario or Zelda got.

So hopefully this new Metroid game will change all that, as it seems like, so far, Nintendo has been trying to reinvent the series and is showing it off every change they get.  Its pretty easy to see they'll be throwing a media blitz of it at E3...the real question is, will commercials for it follow on TV.
