My point is Sony and Nintendo should focus their handhelds as pure gaming consoles because the gadget market is pretty much lost for them. Sure is nice to have the little camera, or the little apps but they shouldn't sell their products as media devices, Sony for whatever reason still tries to convince people that the PSP is that, so they put the PSP in a market that is totally owned by Apple and other companies. |
in 2005, it wasn't TOTALLY owned by apple at all.. as sony had a pretty big chunk of the multimedia market, and the PSP was one of the top selling multimedia devices if not the top selling multimedia(aside from playstation 2 if you call it one) product in 2005/2006, they just screwed up because there advertising became weak, and they started thinking they had the handheld market, when in fact nintendo was constantly suporting the DS, and once the DS lite came out, there the landslide of a lead developed.
