True. It's just Famitsu used to be regarded as "one of the strictist" magazines out there. Famitsu's has been more noticeable. Not that it really matters much since games should only be judged relative to their platform, let alone trying to judge via timeline.

Yeah, but now gaming is too big, magazines rely too much on those games they review giving the magazine ad money and so the publishers have started to realize they have the magazine by the nads, so a lot of the time they have embargos unless they want to give it a higher score and if they're too critical they had ads taken away... its a terrible bind for magazines and the public that wants some good reviews.
