Rental companies are supposed to pay a licensing fee, and I don't see any reason why selling games second hand should be any different than selling a book or a car second hand (although I try to avoid it myself unless the game is out of print). Besides, the seller might recycle the money they got into buying a new game. So I don't agree at all, at all.
