I wish you would have put a question mark at the end of your title, because this doesn't confirm two player...and I'm pretty sure it's been known that you have a CPU helping you.
They neither confirm nor deny two player...which makes me think there isn't two-player now, but perhaps they're trying to implement it in time.
The CPU player, I imagine, helps you out, and appears in various spots besides right next to you, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to turn that into a second human player...considering how cinematic that game is supposed to be, using that CPU player for plenty of cinematics I'm sure.
