This game is starting to shape up well even though I have my doubts till I get to see more:

YES!!! and I will buy it, even if I don't have a Wii (or I will force my wii owner friend to buy it )

coolness... I was already getting this game anyway, this just sweetens the deal. I hope RE4: Wii Edition comes with a UC demo...

I wish you would have put a question mark at the end of your title, because this doesn't confirm two player...and  I'm pretty sure it's been known that you have a CPU helping you.

They neither confirm nor deny two player...which makes me think there isn't two-player now, but perhaps they're trying to implement it in time.

The CPU player, I imagine, helps you out, and appears in various spots besides right next to you, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to turn that into a second human player...considering how cinematic that game is supposed to be, using that CPU player for plenty of cinematics I'm sure.

Neeh... agreed, silly thread. I was thinking 2-player with 2 aiming targets on the screen would work well - split screen, forget it. Would slow the game down way too much. Maybe there will be another game mode where you can play it 2-player... hope so, its really designed for it.

It would really make a lot of sense for two player, and my guess is that the game will have it. And it will definately be co op, ala house of dead. There's no way they'd make an onrails shooter game split screen. It just doesn't make sense!

That sounds really nice. I was already planning on getting this game. If it does do co-op then I won't even wait for it in ebay to say $10. I will pay full price.
