How is Bayonetta is sleeper hit? It sold a million copies combined and it has pretty good legs.

In due time it might be a million seller on both consoles.

Sales don't go with a sleeper hit, it's the low amount of hype it had before release and then being much better than expected to that person.

Well apparently a sleeper hit is supposed to be a bigger success than expected.

I don't think Bayonetta falls in the category of sleeper hit. I mean it was hyped and received a fair share of advertising, it was a critical success, and sales have been solid. Overall I'd say its been doing average for a big budget title.

I think its just an old fashion hit.

Well I expected it to be a cheap Devil May Cry rip off, but instead it is the best of the genre.

So yeah definitely a sleeper hit, because no one considered it even close as a GOTY contender.
