I had actually considered this a LOONG time back, since it was first announced that each LED was a single bit, that meant that you could have any number of players.

I agree that 4 players is the maximum that should be had from any single console w/TV setup, not only for connections, but for screen use, and space in a room.

Still, my question is how the Wii balance boards will play into this? Will we eventually be able to have a 4 player game with each person using a wiiboard and a Wiimote nunchuck combination?

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.
