Well going by carl's logic this confirms the ps3 and psp are both flops since they most likely aren't going to sell as much as the ps1 and ps2

note: i don't really feel like either one are flops just trying to point you to the fact that just because gta:cw hasn't sold as much as previous gtas doesn't make it a flop it as sold pretty well and so has the ps3 and psp

Not necessarily. PS1 and PS2 sold 100/140M each. PSP and PS3 are as of now, 57/33M each.

I would give the PSP a 75M tops numbers. Which isn't that far away from PS1, and would also be the best selling non-Nintendo handheld. That isn't a flop.

PS3 - Who knows where it will end up? It has constantly increased YoY, and still has yet to have its biggest exclusive. 70M is now the LOWEST we could expect for PS3 IMO, and it could reach 80-90M in it's lifetime, depending on how long the generation lasts and how long all 3 consoles are on the market. I wouldn't call that a flop sales-wise. Profit-wise... More than likely.

And if you look closely, 7/10 of PSone sales or 1/2 of PS2 sales... Is much better than 1/18 (or 1/20 if you want to add Xbox sales) of GTA:SA sales or 1/14 of GTA4 sales.

well if you compare the first gtas to gta:cw, since they were alot closer to each other then the lastest gtas, then the ratios would be alot closer and like I said if it falls short it falls short psp falling 25 million below isn't close to me so no on that and ps3 selling 80 million is my bet so 20 million units behind again not very close in my opinion so flops confirmed

edit: That's a good point atma brung up, Carl do you consider PSPGo a flop?
